This major event will showcase both national and international horses, trainers and jockeys, aiming to enhance the international promotion of the Moroccan horse racing industry.
We are delighted to invite international runners for this event, which has established itself over the years as a must-attend

CASABLANCAANFA RACECOURSE
Built in 1912, Casablanca-Anfa racecourse is the oldest Racecourse in Morocco. Spanning over a 20 hectares area and located in the heart of the economic city of the Kingdom, it features a covered grandstand with 1700 metre long dirt track.
LA CITÉ DU CHEVAL
The Cité du Cheval, is a Training Centre located on the outskirts of Casablanca in the heart of the green city of Bouskoura on an area of 87 hectares.
THE TRAINING CENTER CONTAINS :
• 400 boxes.
• Several training tracks, gallop, trotting and canter.
• Collective housing and a catering area.
• A restaurant.

The entry fees must be sent through bank transfer by the entry stage deadline on November 5th .

PRIZE MONEY
• The total payment of the prize money will be transferred by direct transfer to the bank account of the participating owner or at his request, to the bank account of the designated horse racing authority;
• SOREC will pay all the prize money to the winning owner;
• The winning owner will distribute the prize money to the trainer and the jockey;
• The prize money is paid in Moroccan dirham. The equivalent in currency is transferred to the accounts of the beneficiaries (Euro/ Dollar/Pounds).
1. HORSE TRANSPORTATION:
• A transport subsidy is awarded to participating horses that will come overland : Spain: 2000 € - France: 2500 € - UK & Ireland: 3000 €.
• The horses will stay at Bouskoura Training Centre (30 minutes from the racecourse).
• The horse feed is the responsibility of the participants.

• Economy class air tickets on a carrier designated by SOREC will be sent as follows : 2 owner, 2 trainer & 1 jockey;
• Hotel accomodation, room basis only will be provided by SOREC at the official hotel from November 21st to November 23rd included;
• Transport between the following locations will be arranged by SOREC;
• The grooms will stay at Bouskoura Training Centre (La Cité du Cheval) from November 20th to 23rd included;
• Transport between the following locations will be arranged by SOREC :

SUBSIDIES AND INCENTIVES
HEALTH
For the temporary admission of horses participating in the Morocco International Meeting, the transit formalities and the main documents to be prepared are:
1. HEALTH RECORD:
HEALTH CERTIFICATE AND LABORATORY ANALYSIS:
All horses must have a veterinary health certificate validated by the official veterinary service, and originals of test reports from the laboratory.
For most European countries, with which we have sanitary agreements, there are two analysis that are requested :
• The test of Equine Infectious Anemia (Coggins test within 30 days of loading);
• The test of Equine Viral Arteritis at the intervals indicated ; within 21 days (Spain) or 28 days (France) of loading (Serum neutralisation test).
For horses regularly vaccinated against this disease, a second test within minimum14 days is required.
• Dourine and Glanders : within 15 days of export, except horses from the EU , Switzerland or UK who have not left these territories (EU, Switzerland, UK) during the last six months prior to export.
An additional analysis for African Horse Sickness is required for horses coming from the UAE and Qatar:
• For non-vaccinated horses , one single analysis 10 days before departure is required.
• For vaccinated horses, two analysis must be carried out on blood samples should be taken at intervals of 21 to 30 days, with the second sample taken within 10 days prior to boarding.
VACCINATIONS:
Horses must be properly vaccinated against two diseases :
• Equine influenza
• Equine Viral Rhinopneumonitis
2. CUSTOMS FORMALITIES:
All horses and equipment must be recorded in an ATA carnet, available at chambers of commerce. The ATA Carnet is obligatory because it allows to dispense with taxes and the deposit of the import bond. The conveyance must be equipped with the «MA authorization» available at the transport department. If this conveyance is included in the ATA carnet, this authorization may not be requested. It is strongly recommended that copies of the documents be forwarded in advance to freight forwarders and / or the organization, to ensure validity and to provide control and transit in the best conditions. Facilities and assistance will be put in place at the border post in order to ensure a smooth transit.
