Alumni Legacy Scholarships
$1,000 annually
Available to students who are relatives of parents, siblings, or grandparents that are alumni.
Art & Design Scholarships
Up to $4,000 annually
Available to students majoring in Art & Design, this award is given to students based on interviews with Art & Design faculty.

Band Scholarships
Up to $5,000 annually
Available to students interested in participating in band. Awards are given based on talent and financial need and an audition with the Music Department is required; contact them to schedule.
Catholic School Scholarships
$3,000 annually
Available to incoming transfers who are transferring from a Catholic College with an A.A. or A.S. degree.
Duns Scotus Honors Scholarships
$1,000 annually
Available to students who earned a 3.25 GPA or higher at their community college and are transferring into their junior year. Interview will be completed during the spring semester each year.
Leach Endowed Scholarships
Awards vary
Available to students majoring in nursing who have financial need as determined by the FAFSA.
Music Scholarships
Up to $2,500 annually
Available to students participating in USF music ensembles, including Claritas Master Chorale, Pep Band and Joliet Symphony Orchestra. Awards are based on talent, contribution, and financial need.
Science Fellows Scholarships
$3,000 annually
Available to students majoring in Biology or Biochemistry and earned a 3.25 GPA or higher. Interview required. Interview will be completed during the spring semester of each year.

USF Family Discounts
5% of full-time traditional undergraduate tuition
Available for immediate family members when two or more students are registered full time in a traditional undergraduate full-tuition rate program.
Access Grant
Up to $5,000 annually
Available to incoming first-year students who are eligible to apply for the RISE ACT (Alternative Financial Aid application).
Will County Access Initiative Grant
Full tuition
Available to high-achieving students with the greatest need who reside in Will County. Visit stfrancis.edu/access
Will County Comeback Scholarships
Up to $5,000 annually
Available to students with high need who reside in Will County and majoring in the Education or Nursing field and planning on staying and working in Will County after college

Federal TEACH Grant
Up to $4,000 annually
Grant for students who intend to teach in a high need school within a determined shortage area discipline. More information may be found at studentaid.gov. Grant award becomes a federal loan if student does not fulfill teaching requirements.
Federal Work-Study
Up to $3,000 annually
Based on financial need.
Federal Direct Subsidized Loan
Up to $3,500 for first-year students; $4,500 for sophomores; $5,500 for juniors and seniors
Based on financial need.
Federal Direct Unsubsidized Loan
Up to $5,500 for first-year students; $6,500 for sophomores; $7,500 for juniors and seniors
Based on financial need. (Total combination of subsidized and unsubsidized cannot exceeed ranges.)
Federal Direct Parent Loan (PLUS)
Up to full cost of attendance less any other assistance
Parent borrower may request deferment of payments while student is enrolled half-time in school through Direct Loan Servicing.
